To gain a respect sometimes seems to be much more difficult than it really seems. As we all know, trust and respect is as hard to win as it is easy to lose. Below we’ll share few ways on how to earn respect from your staff:

  • Communication at all levels
Two way communication between managers and employees is crucial. This way employees receive feedback for their work and can get an idea on their overall professional performance. On the other hand, managers become aware of the feelings, interests and attitudes of their employees regarding the organization, its mission and goals. Good communication assures clarity and understanding. It is the key element for in every relationship – work relations, colleagues relations, family, etc.)

  • Equitable reward
Patting on the back followed with “Well done or Good job” increases the effective implementation of the task, but good remuneration or creating employee incentive programs remain a major motivator for more involvement in work and overall job satisfaction. In addition, salary must be equal to the average or above it and be on time in order to stimulate employees.

  • The boss and his authority
To earn the trust and respect of employees it’s hard and it’s not done through command and control. You have to know how to hypnotize them and find the best way to talk to them. To be an authoritative person professionalism is not enough. Impeccable personal skills, ability to listen, understand and persuade are a must. And again, let’s not forget about the remuneration. Always reward your employees when you are satisfied with their work. For Christmas or Easter make corporate parties and little presents for everyone or create staff incentive programs. The gesture will be highly respected.

For more different incentive programs visit the online store gourmandise.com.au and make your employees happy.
