
Planning a birthday party at work is a great way to show your colleague or a boss how much you appreciate and admire him/her on this big day. With the help of your other colleagues plan a nice surprise birthday party that will be fun and appropriate at the same time.

Together with your colleagues work out the budget. Collect money for birthday party decorations, cake, snacks, drinks and birthday gift, of course. Buy something that your colleague or boss will really enjoy. For example, if it is a men you’ll have to search for and buy appropriate birthday gifts for men. If he likes sport, get him a ticket to a big basketball or football game. Do not forget to include a birthday card with best wishes from everyone.

Food
Food is very important part of a successful birthday party. If it is a morning party, buy some fresh drinks, coffee, donuts, bagels etc. If you plan to have a surprise party during your lunch brake, a salad, various pasta dishes and/or sandwiches are the best food for the party. And, if you decide to party after work, appetizers, finger foods, chips and other snacks are perfect. Whatever you decide on, do not forget to order a big birthday cake and candles.
Decoration
Decoration need to be perfect. You can decorate the whole office or only the office of the birthday person. Buy balloons, decorative paper, stickers and many other cheap decorative stuff. Get colorful paper table covers and get some cheerful, colorful birthday hats, plates and glasses.
