Are you a natural talent for drawing portraits? Or do you simply love painting abstract objects? Whatever the case is, may I attempt to persuade you to embrace your inner Picasso? Anyone who wants to explore their latent talents and creative energies should take up painting as a hobby.
It’s a great activity to do with family, friends, or children as well as a great way to unwind and blow off steam. All you have to do is visit a well-stocked store for art supplies to find all the materials you need to embark on your creative journey. And here’s what you can expect in terms of tools and techniques:

Watercolor Paint Travel Kit
Sets of watercolour paint that have been panned are simple to use, small, and contain half as many tubes. Along with a package of 48 colours to mix and blend, this watercolour travel kit also contains 20 sheets of watercolour paper, two watercolour brushes, and a palette to make it simple to combine colours while on the road.
Paint Brush Set
When you are first starting out in art, choosing the ideal paintbrushes from the store for art supplies can be a challenging but at the same time exciting task. The ideal method to experiment is to find a great set that includes several different brush sizes and shapes.
A total of 16 brushes, a palette knife for mixing, and a sponge for cleaning are included in this set of paint brushes. Comfortable features include ergonomic, non-slip handles, which are especially useful as you become used to handling a brush.
Mixed-Media Sketchbook
A fantastic sort of paper to start with when exploring various mediums and doing daily sketches is mixed media paper. Both wet and dry media can be used successfully with the paper’s texture. This paper can be used with markers, watercolour, or acrylic paint and is versatile and simple to tear out when you’re ready to frame it.

Micron Pen Set
Line drawing, outlining, and practising handwritten calligraphy are all excellent ways to try out your micron pens. I believe any beginner artist will find them very useful. The varying weights of the micron pens enable the creation of distinctive lines and expressions with each stroke.
Table Easel
Anyone wishing to set up an art studio in any room should use table easels which they can find at the store for art supplies. This table easel is portable, simple to use, and beneficial for drawing or painting posture.
Travelling while painting? It is simple to move around and will fit in most medium-tote bags. To begin, you can use a table surface or table easel. If you decide to stick with it, you can subsequently invest in a fancier one.
Watercolor Paper Pad
One of my all-time favourite types of paper to work on is watercolour paper. You can use it for both watercolour painting and drawing, but if you want to add some definition, acrylic or markers work really well with the texture. The sizes available are suitable for both beginning and experienced artists.

Paint Palette
Before applying paint to paper, paint palettes are a great method to experiment with colour blending and become familiar with the texture and consistency of the paint. Start with a basic acrylic or wood palette; if you decide to continue with it, you may upgrade to glass palettes, which are simple to maintain and reuse and are therefore more expensive.
Drawing Pencils
Put those Number 2 pencils away. When experimenting with technique and texture, a decent set of drawing pencils is fantastic and ideal for beginning artists. A set of pencils in various weights is the ideal place to start when drawing as a foundation for paintings or trying your hand at fast sketches.
Art Pencil Sharpener
You also need a pencil sharpener. The pencil tip can be seen being sharpened when using metal hand-held sharpeners, which are simple to use. By doing this, broken pencil tips and excessive sharpening are avoided. A sharpener with 8 mm and 10.5 mm holes for thicker pencils, or a double sharpener with the regular 8 mm hole size.

Learning Resources
In order to learn various approaches, there are a ton of books, videos, classes and other artists to be a source of help when you’re in need of grasping the fundamentals, and objectively looking at the progress of your technique.
Sometimes, people get so discouraged when they can’t immediately recreate what they see in their mind’s eye, or what another artist has done. But there’s actually a lot of value in going through the process and struggle of painting. It really helps you to understand and appreciate the work that goes into a final product, whether it’s a masterpiece or not.
Kneaded Erasers
The secret weapon of artists has definitely kneaded erasers. You could wish to start over when you’re practising and mastering an art form. Kneaded erasers don’t leave much in the way of waste or residue on the paper and can effectively pick up almost everything.
Acrylic Paint
Once you’re ready to start using acrylic paint, you should look for heavy-bodied tubes. Although thick body paint shows brush strokes, it can be diluted with water to seem smoother. Purchase a starter set with at least six of the following colours: red, yellow, green, blue, black, and white. These are the beginner paint colours to choose from if you’re buying individual paint tubes.
